Acer VG252QX is a 25-inch IPS Gaming Monitor with 240Hz Refresh Rate and Support for Freesync and G-Sync
Acer will soon launch a new VG252QX gaming monitor, a new monitor that offers 240Hz refresh rate on an IPS panel.
Acer will soon launch and release a new IPS gaming monitor with support for 240Hz variable refresh rate and 1ms response time, the VG252QX. This monitor is very similar to others from Acer, only that this one comes with a standard stand.
The Acer VG252QX comes with a 1920x1080 screen resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a diagonal size of 25 inches. The color gamut this monitor features is set at 99% sRGB with a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The maximum brightness this monitor offers 400 nits. The monitor is HDR400 VESA certified, so that those using it will benefit from better color quality and accuracy. With this model you will get one DisplayPort 1.2, and two HDMI 2.0 connectors, too.
This VG252QX monitor uses the Full HD resolution and since it comes with support for both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync, then you can pair with your computer no matter the GPU model you have installed in it. The Adaptive Sync technology that allows a variable refresh rate to be used by your monitor and PC should be great at reducing screen tearing and stuttering during gaming sessions. At this moment we can't offer any extra details on the performance of this monitor's IPS panel when the 240Hz refresh rate is active.
The VG252QX monitor is available for the Asian markets currently, and it should soon be made available for other regions, too.
