AOC Announces Huge 49-inch Ultrawide VA Curved Monitor, The AG493UCX Features 120Hz, 1ms MPRT and FreeSync

AOC continues their work on releasing new ultrawide gaming monitors and today we will present their new AG49UCX model, a new model that packs some very interesting features on a huge screen. The new monitor isn't ready for purchase, but it should be soon available worldwide for purchase.

The AOC AG493UCX panel is ultrawide and its diagonal size stands at a whooping 49 inches with a resolution measuring 5120 x 1440 and 1ms MPRT response time, while the real gray-to-gray response time value is nowhere to be found, but we think that it shouldn't go over 5ms. The AG493UCX panel is a curved VA model, and it offers 93% DCI-P3, 121% sRGB, 102% NTSC color space. It comes with VESA HDR 400 support, 120Hz refresh rate and AMD Freesync compatibility. There is no news on the Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, but we can expect it to be added in a future graphics drivers' update.

AOC AG493UCX is a VA gaming monitor with a curvature value set at 1800 and as aspect ratio of 32:9 and contrast ratio of 3000:1, which means that it should offer great blacks and beautiful picture quality. Also, it offers Low Blue Light, Flicker-free and Picture-by-Picture functions obviously. For those wondering if this model comes with audio speakers, then you should know that it comes with two built-in 5W speakers. The stand on this model is great as it comes with support for height adjustment as well as tilt and swivel. Also, the monitor can be mounted on a wall as it is VESA 100x100 compatible.

The AG493UCX curved gaming monitor comes with 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0 ports and one USB 3.2 port. The official availability of this model should be announced soon enough. However, you can expect it to soon be listed on an online retailer near you.
