AOC Releases Q27G2U and CQ27G2U Gaming Monitors with 144Hz Refresh Rates, 1ms, FreeSync, VA Panels and 1440p Resolutions

AOC has just presented  two new budget-friendly gaming monitors, the curved CQ27G2U and the Q27G2U versions. The monitors are both offering Quad HD resolutions and high refresh rates for those looking to get a competitive edge against their opponents.

Both the flat and the curved monitors are offering the same specifications. The only different between these two models is the fact that one of them is curved and the other isn't.

These new gaming monitors are coming with the following features: 144Hz refresh rates. 2560 x 1440 Quad HD resolution, 1ms MPRT, AMD FreeSync support, 3000;1 standard contrast ratio, VA panel, 120% sRGB color gamut and 90% AdobeRGB, and 85% on the NTSC spectrum. The brightness on this model is listed at 250 nits. The curvature radius of the CQ27G2U model is set at 1500R. The diagonal size on both these models is measuring 27 inches.

The monitors should be launched in the following weeks and the pricing for both should be listed somewhere around $300. We will update the post with the correct release price and availability once these are made public by AOC.
