AOC has announced the official specs for U28G2X 4K UHD gaming monitor

AOC has officially announced the specs list for their new U28G2X 4K UHD gaming monitor. It will be released most probably later this year, and we will post an updated article when AOC decides to publicly confirm pricing and release date.

AOC continues to work on releasing better and better gaming monitors, and now that new GPUs and gaming consoles will finally be available for purchase, they decided to work on building better models with 4K UHD gaming in mind. Unfortunately, the U28G2X doesn't sport HDMI 2.1, which means that the newest gaming  consoles won't support the 4K UHD resolution at 120hz.

The AOC U28G2X official specs are: 28-inch IPS screen, 3840 x 2160 4K UHD resolution, 144hz variable refresh rate for PCs, NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 370nits brightness, excellent wide viewing angles, 95% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 1ms MPRT with AOC Motion Blur Reduction function, VESA DisplayHDR 400, two DisplayPort 1.4 inputes, two HDMI 2.0 ports, four USB ports, 3.5mm headphone jack, and two 3W built-in stereo speakers.

The stand that comes with the AOC U28G2X offers complete ergonomics, as it allows users to adjust the monitor's pivot, swivel, tilt and height positions easily. If you don't want to use the stand that comes with the monitor, then you should know that the screen is VESA 100x100 compatible.

This AOC U28G2X should be available for purchase before the end of 2021. We should post a new article when info about its release date, pricing and availability are officially confirmed.
