The Taiwanese motherboard manufacturer wants to enter the gaming monitor market and their first product is a curved ultrawide QHD model. The new monitor's name is PG34WQ15R2B and below you can find all the info you need in order to know about its release and its specs.

ASRock PG34WQ15R2B offers a 34-inch VA ultrawide display, 3440 x 1440 UltraWide QHD resolution, 165hz maximum refresh rate, 1ms (MPRT), VESA DisplayHDR400 certification, Flicker-Free, AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies, HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, 1500R screen curvature, 91% DCI-P3 and 115% sRGB color gamuts, 550 nits standard brightness, 3000:1 standard contrast ratio, 1.4 DisplayPort input, 2.0 HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The stand lets users adjust the tilt, swivel, and height positions. Also, the monitor will be VESA 100x100 certified. The DisplayPort input will be the one that support 165hz variable refresh rate at 1440p resolution , while the HDMI 2.0 port only supports 100hz VRR.

One cool thing that ASRock brings to the monitor market would be the 7dBI integrated Wi-Fi Antenna. This allows users to connect the monitor to a PC and then use the integrated Antenna to use your home WiFi easily. This feature is great for those that wish to get rid of the ethernet cable. NOTE: if you are planning on playing tons of multiplayer games, then we recommend you continue using the ethernet connection instead, while for browsing you can try the Wi-Fi connection.
