ASUS Presents New IPS 144hz gaming monitor, The TUF Gaming VG279Q1R will be launched later this year

ASUS continues to announce new 2020 Gaming Monitors, as with the VG279Q1R they have already reached over ten new models launched this year.

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG279Q1R comes with a 27-inch IPS panel, 1920 x 1080 Full HD screen resolution, 250 nits maximum brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, excellent wide viewing angles, 1ms response time (MPRT), Flicker-free, 144Hz variable refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium technology, Shadow Boost, GamePlus functions, GameVisual, Ultra-Low Blue Light, HDCP Support, GameFast Input technology, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The monitor support 144Hz AMD FreeSync 1080p through both the DisplayPort and HDMI inputs. The stand that comes with the monitor is not that rich when it comes to ergonomics, as it only supports Tilt adjustment. The monitor is also VESA 75x75 wall mountable in case you wish to get a better support and get better ergonomics.

The ASUS (ELMB) Extreme Low Motion Blur that comes with the ASUS VG279Q1R gaming monitor should provide really fast response time as there shouldn't any sign of ghosting while still getting really high FPS.

The Flicker-free and Ultra-Low Blue Light features will greatly reduce the eye strain and allow users to game for longer periods of time. The AMD FreeSync Premium technology along with a variable refresh rate of 144Hz should provide a smoother gaming experience without any screen tearing or stuttering while gaming. Currently there is no info on the availability nor the pricing that ASUS will set for this TUF Gaming VG279Q1R.
