ASUS Releases TUF Gaming VG279QL1A Gaming Monitor with NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync, and 165Hz IPS Panel
ASUS has just announced a brand new gaming monitor, as the VG279QL1A specs are now official. It seems like 2020 will bring tons of new monitors designed for gaming, as we will get models with 240hz refresh rate, 165hz and 144hz versions, with all of these coming for all types of resolutions.
This new ASUS TUF Gaming VG279QL1A comes with the following specs: 27-inch IPS panel with 95% DCI-P3 and 125% sRGB wide color gamuts, 1920 x 1080 Full HD maximum screen resolution, 165hz maximum variable refresh rate, AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies, 400nits brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, excellent wide viewing angles, HDR10 support, 1ms MPRT, Trace Free function, GamePlus modes, Low Blue Light, GameFast Input technology, Extreme Low Motion Blur, Shadow Boost, and 0.311 pixel pitch.
ASUS VG279QL1A monitor offers one DisplayPort 1.2 input, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The monitor also offers a detachable stand that allows the adjusting of its tilt, swivel, pivot and height positions. The monitor is VESA 100x100 compatible for those looking to add the device to their multi-monitor setup. There is no official word on the monitor's release date, pricing nor availability.
