ASUS brings the VG27AQ1A 170hz and 1440p Capable Gaming Monitor to their TUF Gaming 2020 Lineup

The ASUS VG27AQ1A is a brand new gaming monitor that should be released worldwide before the end of this year. The official release date is unknown at this moment, but we expect new info to be released by ASUS soon.

The ASUS VG27AQ1A comes with a 27-inch IPS panel, 2560 x 1440 maximum screen resolution, flat screen, 1ms MPRT, Flicker-free, 250 maximum brightness, HDR10 support, 170hz maximum refresh rate that can be obtained by using the overclocking feature. It also offers 95% DCI-P3 and 130% sRGB wide color gamuts, 1.07B colors, Trace Free Technology, GamePlus modes, Low Blue Light, HDCP support, Adaptive Sync for both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies, GameFast Input technology, Dynamic Shadow Boost, Display Widget Lite, Extreme Low Motion Blur, and two built-in 2W stereo speakers.

The connectivity ports offered by the VG27AQ1A TUF Gaming monitor are: two HDMI 2.0 ports, and one DisplayPort 1.2 input. NOTE: only the DisplayPort input can be used when overclocking the PC to 170hz, as the HDMI ports are only capable of going up to 144hz.

ASUS VG27AQ1A design is pretty standard for 2020, as it comes with no lights and three frameless sides. The monitor looks to be excellent in terms of features, but there is a downside, as it only support tilt and swivel angle adjusting - if you wish to get height adjusting I'm afraid that you will be forced to hook it up to a desk/ wall mount.
