Disney+ Will Be Available on Apple TV, Android TV, PS4, Xbox One and Roku TV at Launch

Disney+ will be launched later this year and it is brand new on-demand video service owned by Walt Disney. The video service will go live in November and today we’ve got news on the streaming service’s availability and TV models support.

The Disney+ streaming service will be launched in the United States, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands and it will be available on Apple TV (tvOS), Android TVs, PlayStation 4, Chromecast, Desktop Web Browsers, iPadOS, iOS, Roku streaming players, Roku TV and Xbox One. It seems like Disney+ will not be available for the Amazon Fire TV at launch, but that should change until the release date gets here.

The Disney+ service should be available in other regions starting from 2020. Also, among the devices that are listed above you can notice that the Samsung and LG TVs are missing, and that is because Disney hasn’t confirmed the support for those brands until now. We should be getting more info about the availability of the Disney+ on-demand video streaming service.

The pricing has been set at $8.99 per month or $89.99 per year for the Disney+ service, and it will first be available in the United States, Canada and the Netherlands. The pricing for Netherlands and the rest of the EU is set at €6.99/ month or €69.99 for a full year. The week after the original release Disney+ will be made available in Australia and New Zealand costing $8.99AUD, and $9.99NZD respectively. Keep an eye on our website as we will soon have more info on the streaming service’s availability in other regions, and the other supported TV models.
