Gigabyte Aorus FV43U is official wiht 43" screen, 144hz refresh rate and 4K UltraHD resolution

Gigabyte has officially confirmed the specs and features that their new 43.4-inch gaming monitor will feature at launch. This model will soon be available for purchase worldwide and we should post an update about it when this happens.

This Gigabyte Aorus FV43U gaming monitor offers a 43-inch VA QLED screen, 4K UHD maximum screen resolution, 1000 nits maximum brightness, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 99% AdobeRGB, 99% sRGB, 97% DCI-P3, excellent wide viewing angles, 1ms (MPRT) response time, 10bit (8bit+FRC) panel, 144hz maximum refresh rate, Flicker-free, VESA DisplayHDR 1000 compatible, HBR3, two 12W built-in speakers, Black Stabilizer, Aim Stabilizer Sync, KVM, 6axis color control, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Gigabyte Aorus FV43U features two USB 3.0 ports, one USB-C input, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. The monitor is designed with both PC and Console gaming in mind, as the HDMI 2.1 port will offer 120hz support for 4K UHD gaming when using a gaming console. For PC gaming you can go up to 144hz refresh rate via both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs. Another great thing about the monitor is the Adaptive Sync technology, as it supports both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync functions.

Since the Gigabyte Aorus FV43U screen measures 43 inches and it is almost a meter long, then you shouldn't expect it to come with an ergonomic stand, as it requires to separate legs to properly stand on. The monitor looks just like a TV, but if you want to use it with a gaming console, then you can easily hook it up to your wall as it is VESA 200x200 compatible.

The pricing for this monitor will probably be set somewhere above $1300. We will post an update when the monitor goes on sale some time this year.
