M27Q X is Gigabyte's 2022 new 1440p 240hz competitive gaming monitor

Gigabyte doesn't want to be left behind and it has announced that they will launch a brand new 27-inch gaming monitor designed with competitive gaming in mind. The monitor will most probably be launched in 2022 and currently have info on its specs and features, as the final release date, availability and pricing are still unknown.

The Gigabyte M27Q X gaming monitor comes with the following specs: 27-inch Super Speed IPS screen, 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution, 240hz very fast refresh rate, support for both AMD Freesync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies and an advertised minimum response time of 1ms. The monitor is destined to be paired with computers capable of going over 200FPS constantly when gaming at 1440p resolutions. In case your computer's CPU+GPU combo is unable to get such high FPS at QHD resolutions, then you would be better off looking at a different monitor with a Full HD resolution.

This M27Q X model from Gigabyte can also be used for other tasks as it is advertised by Gigabyte as "the first gaming monitor with a KVM switch". The KVM switch allows the monitor to be connected to two different computers while using a single keyboard+mouse combo. This means that you can connect your work laptop and your personal computer to the same monitor and easily switch between them when needed.

Here are some of the other cool features the Gigabyte M27Q X monitor will have to offer at launch: 140% sRGB, 92% DCI-P3 color saturation,  350nits standard brightness, excellent wide viewing angles with no color accuracy loss when looked at from an angle, 1000:1 contrast ratio, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, HBR3, Flicker-free, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4, one USB Type-C with 18W power delivery, two USB 3.0 downstream ports and a single USB 3.0 upstream input. This the monitor offers 3.5mm headphone jack and built-in 2W audio speakers. Keep an eye on our website if you wish to learn more about the release date pricing when such details are made known by Gigabyte.
