Lenovo presents two new Legion 27-inch 180hz capable gaming monitors
Lenovo is officially announcing two new monitors for their Legion gaming lineup. Both monitors will be released and made available for purchase in the following months.
Below you can find info on all specs and features the Lenovo Y27q-30 and Y27-30 models will sport at launch. The first model, Y27q-30 model, is a QHD 1440p monitor, while the model without the "Q" offers only FullHD resolution.
The Lenovo Legion Y27q-30 gaming monitor comes with 27-inch IPS screen, 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution, 109dpi, 0.5ms MPRT, 165hz standard variable refresh rate, 180hz overclock refresh rate, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 99% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color gamuts, 400nits standard brightness, two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 input, four USB 3.2 Gen 1(hub), AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync, built-in 3W audio speakers, complete ergonomics, thin bezels, and excellent wide viewing angles.
The HDMI port only goes up to 144hz refresh rate, while the DisplayPort input will get 165hz native refresh rate and the 180hz refresh rate value can be used only with the Overclock function enabled. The stand that comes with the Lenovo Legion Y27q-30 offers complete ergonomics letting users adjust the tilt, swivel, pivot and height position.
