LG Presents New 43" 4K UltraHD UN700 IPS Monitor with HDR10 Support
LG launches a new huge 43" gaming+office hybrid monitor that offers USB Type-C connectivity and HDR10 support at a 4K UltraHD resolution.

LG will launch tomorrow a brand new 4K UltraHD with HDR10 capabilities monitor in selected markets. The LG UN700 monitor is marketed as a hybrid monitor, as it can be used for both gaming and office work.
The LG UN700 comes with tons of features and functions that should make it popular for those that are using their computers for work and for gaming. The fact that the monitor offers HDR10 support it means that it offers better blacks and a higher brightness level that shouldn't distort any colors accuracy. This model uses the same exact design as the older 2017 LG UD79-B monitor. The stand on this model allows only tilt adjustments.
The LG 43UN700 offers a 42.5" IPS panel with a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160, 1000:1 contrast ratio, wide viewing angles, HDR 10 support, 99% sRGB color gamut, it is color calibrated out-of-the-box, it offers USB Type-C connectivity with support for 4K DP Alt-mode and data transferring, as well as a power delivery of 60W through the same USB-C port. Other connectivity ports found on this model are 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 2x HDMI 1.4 ports, 1x DisplayPort, and 2x USB 3.0 ports
If you're planning on using this model to work on it, then you will be glad to know that it comes with support for picture-by-picture and you can put up to 4 different windows in PBP mode. If you want to update the monitor software then you can do it using the OnScreen Control app by LG. Also, the monitor comes with two 10W audio speakers.
When it comes to gaming capabilities, the LG 43UN700 offers Dynamic Action Sync, Black Stabilizer, a fast response time, great viewing angles, low input lag, and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Currently this model is available in Central America and Japan. All the other regions including Europe and the United States will get it in 2020.
