MSI Announces Their 1st 360Hz Gaming Monitor, Oculux NXG253R Will Launch November 2020

After ASUS announced and confirmed the launch of their 360Hz ROG Swift PG259QN gaming monitor, today it was MSI's turn. The Oculux NXG253R 360 has been officially confirmed and it will be made available for purchase starting this November.

The MSI Oculux NXG253R is confirmed to be offering excellent specs , just like the ASUS model. The monitor is advertised towards eSports and competitive gamers, as it comes with 1ms GtG response time, 360hz variable refresh rate, NVIDIA G-Sync Adaptive Sync technology, NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer - which is a brand new function that NVIDIA will add to their 30xx GPU series. The monitor should offer 1080p Full HD resolution, even though the official website doesn't list the resolution specs and the Oculux NXG253R dedicated web page isn't up for the moment.

The monitor might also offer AMD FreeSync certification when it will be launched, but this is only speculation on our part, as MSI has added support for FreeSync on all monitors they launched up until now. The monitor is marketed towards NVIDIA GPU owners, and we can only wait for it to be released in order learn whether or not is offering FreeSync compatibility.

The MSI Oculux NXG253R will be launched in November 2020, and it has also got a price slapped across it - $799. We will post an update regarding the remaining specs when such info gets released by MSI, as we are still waiting on them to announce the resolution, contrast ratio, brightness, ergonomics and whether or not the monitor will offer AMD FreeSync support.
