MSI Optix MAG271VCR New 27-inch Curved Monitor will be released with 1080p, 165hz, and eSports-oriented features

After the 34" 1440p MAG342CQRV official announcement, MSI has officially confirmed a new smaller 1080p capable curved gaming monitor with 165hz refresh rate.

The new Optix MAG271VCR is packing some serious heat when it comes to specs oriented towards eSports video game settings: 27-inch VA panel, 1ms Response Time (MPRT), Adaptive Sync technologies for NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies, 165hz variable refresh rate, 1920 x 1080 Full HD maximum screen resolution, 250nits brightness, excellent wide viewing angles, 1800R curvature radius, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut which will make the colors and picture quality of this panel look stunning.

The monitor also offers Night Vision that brightens the darker in-game areas, Mystic Light RGB on its back, Anti-flicker, Less Blue Light, Frameless design, and excellent ergonomics. The monitor allows you to adjust its tilt, swivel, and height positions. If you wish to hook it up with your desk mount, then you should know that this model is VESA 75x75 compatible.

The Adaptive Sync technology is working through both the HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, and both will offer 165hz variable refresh rate at 1080p Full HD resolution. The pricing, availability, and release date are currently unknown, but we should see them released at the end of this year or early 2021.
