NEC MultiSync PA311D Is Available Now, It Sports 31", True 4K UltraHD Resolution, and Professional Image Quality Features
NEC is launching a brand new professional monitor for graphic designers, the MultiSync PA311D. It is a model that offers UltraHD 4K resolution and really wide color gamut for better picture quality and excellent image accuracy.
The NEC MultiSync PA311D measures 31 inches diagonally and it is a premium model that is destined to be used by those that are looking to get the most out of their work. This monitor is marketed as a professional desktop panel, as it comes with a 4096x2160 4K UltraHD screen resolution and fantastic black levels, and better contrast than normal monitors. Another cool thing that we can find on this monitor is the USB Type-C connector that offers 65W charging support.
The MultiSync PA311D is a professional editing desktop monitor offering 4K resolution, 8ms G2G (gray-to-gray) response time, 350 nits brightness, 1400:1 static contrast ratio, wide viewing angles, 99.9% sRGB, 97.4% NTSC, and 100% Adobe RGB color gamut values. Also, it offers 14-bit 3D internal programmable LUT for calibration. The monitor comes with MultiProfiles software, a tool that you can use to control five image modes, as well as the SpectraView II Engine sensor that should allow you to enjoy better brightness levels and a much more stable color. You can install and load ICC profile straight into the monitor, too. If you're working with tons of live video files, then you will be glad to know that a low-latency mode is available on this monitor, too.
Both Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture features are available with this monitor, so that you can better organize and compartmentalize all your professional work for increased productivity. The monitor offers tilt and swivel adjustments, and you can also add a hood to reduce glare. However, note that the optional hood doesn't come with the monitor, and you will have to purchase it separately.
In terms of connectivity ports, the MultiSync PA311D by NEC comes with USB-C 65W charging port, 2x DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, 2x HDMI ports, and the USB 3.1 hub offering two upstream and 3 downstream ports. The monitor comes with a 4-year warranty from NEC and it should be available starting with $3000, while the SpectraView bundle will cost you an additional sum of $250. If you also need to buy the HD2PA31 hood, then you will have another $300.
