The Philips 279C9 is a brand new 4K UltraHD monitor designed for those looking to improve their experience in a place of work. This monitor should be ready for launch later this month and we will post an update when it happens.

The Philips 279C9 is coming with a 27-inch IPS panel, 3840 x 2160 4K UltraHD maximum screen resolution, W-LED backlit, 16:9 aspect ratio, 163PPI, 5ms GtG response time, 400 nits brightness, 1300:1 contrast ratio, Mega Infinity DCR, 91% NTSC and 109% sRGB wide color gamuts, 1.07B colors, 60hz refresh rate through HDMI port, excellent wide viewing angles, LowBlue Light, Flicker-free, EasyReady, AMD FreeSync support, 3.5mm headphone jack, two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 input, USB-c port, four USB 3.2 ports - one with fast charging support.

The monitor's stand is detachable and in terms of ergonomics it offers pivot, swivel, tilt and height adjusting support. The Philips 279C9 should be released late August or early September. The pricing currently is rumored to be set a little under €500 in Europe. We will post extra info when we will get our hands on it.
