The ASUS RoG Strix XG279Q is a gaming monitor that is currently available in China, but it should get into US and European markets some time next year. This monitor is packing the following features and functions: 170Hz overclockable maximum refresh rate, Adaptive Sync for varibale refresh rate for both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies, 1ms response time, wide viewing angles, 400 nits brightness, over 90% DCI-P3 and 125% sRGB color gamuts, 8-bit color depth, 2560 x 1440 maximum screen resolution, 27-inch diagonal size, factory calibrated, Aura sync for monitor back lighting, one DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI ports, two USB 3.0 ports and one 3.5mm headphone jack.
This monitor also comes with two built-in 2W audio speakers. The ergonomics permit stand swivel, tilt, pivot and height adjustments easily. The RoG Strix XG279Q is now available only in China, but it will eventually be made available in 2020 for all the other regions.
