ASUS Announces Two New Professional Monitors, ProArt PA248QV and ProArt PA278QV

ASUS has presented and confirmed the specifications for two new ProArt Professional monitors designed for photographers and others that are working mostly with colors. If you're one of them, then you should check out either one of these models, as you might finally find a brand new monitor to purchase.

The ASUS PA248QV Professional monitor comes with a 24.1" IPS panel, 16:10 aspect ratio, 1920 x 1200 WUXGA maximum screen resolution, 100% sRGB and 100% Rec.709 wide color gamuts, Calman Verified with factory pre-calibrated for excellent color accuracy - Delta E <2, 8 ProArt Preset modes and ProArt Palette,  1000:1 contrast ratio, 300nits brightness, 16.7M colors, 5ms GTG response time, 3 modes for Skin-tone selection, Low Blue Light, Flicker-free, HDCP Support, Adaptive-Sync also supported.

The PA248QV offers DisplayPort, HDMI, D-Sub, four USB 3.0 ports, one 3.5mm headphone jack, and Audio In connectivity Ports. Also, the stand packed with this monitor allows you to tilt, swivel, pivot and adjust the height of the monitor easily.

The bigger ASUS PA278QV monitor offers almost the same features as the smaller one, except for the screen resolution value. This monitor comes with a 2560 x 1440 WQHD screen resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 27 IPS panel. The other specs are the same as the smaller PA248QV model.

Both monitors are coming with ultraslim bezels on three of their sides, which should make either one great for a multi-monitor setup. The availability and pricing for these monitors are still unknown. We will post an update when ASUS releases such info.
