MSI has just announced a brand new gaming monitor designed for those looking for e-Sports titles. The monitor will be available for purchase most probably at the end of this year, and we will post an update when the info gets public.
This MSI Optix MAG274R gaming monitor will offer the following specs and functions: 1920x1080 FullHD resolution, 27-inch IPS panel, 16:9 aspect ratio, 144hz maximum refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium support, 300 nits brightness, excellent wide viewing angles, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 1.07B colors 8bit+FRC, 95% DCI-P3 and 132% sRGB wide color gamuts, MSI NightVision, HDR support, and Gaming OSD App 2.0 that you can use to control the monitor's settings and functions.
It seems like this MAG274R monitor will only come with AMD FreeSync Premium support. The NVIDIA G-Sync technology might be confirmed at a later date, or MSI will announce a different model with G-Sync compatibility. We should be able to get more news in the following months.
