ViewSonic Announces the XG270QC, New 165Hz 1440p Curved Gaming Monitor with Elite RGB Customisable Lighting
ViewSonic has just announced the new ViewSonic XGH270QC gaming monitor. It will soon be launched worldwide and that might happen this summer.
The ViewSonic XG270QC offers a 27-inch MVA panel, with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440, 16:9 aspect ratio, 3000:1 contrast ratio, LED backlit, 550 nits brightness, 16.7M colors, 8-bit True Color Space, excellent wide viewing angles, 3ms GTG response tine, and 1ms MPRT. The panel on this monitor is curved and the curvature radius measures 1500R.
The XG270QC supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and a maximum variable refresh rate of 165Hz. The connectivity ports that the monitor is shipped with are: one DisplayPort, two HDMI 2.0 ports, one microUSB, One USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-b, three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, and one 3.5mm headphone jack. Please note that the HDMI port only goes up to 144Hz when it comes to refresh rates, adn the 165Hz value is only available through the DisplayPort input.
The ViewSonic XG270QC ergonomics are offering a stand with support for adjusting the monitor's height, swivel and tilt angles. The backside of this monitor offers the "Elite RGB" feature, which allow you to use an app on your computer that controls the lights coming out of the monitor's back. The ELITE RGB feature is designed to improve your gaming experience and make the monitor stand out more in your room.
The ViewSonic XG270QC monitor will be launched some time this year, and it will most probably be available for a price that goes a little over $500. We will post an update when the monitor gets launched and made available for purchase.
