ViewSonic VX3418-2KPC UltraWide Curved gaming monitor is official

The VX3418-2KPC is the latest ultrawide monitor from ViewSonic, a new gaming monitor that should be released soon. The monitor offers ultrawide resolution on a curved screen, support for variable refresh rate, and a very low response time.

ViewSonic should launch the monitor some time this year, and we got a price for it, too. The VX3418-2KPC monitor is listed on ViewSonic's website for only $470, which seems like a low price for all the cool features it comprises.

The ViewSonic VX3418-2KPC packs the following specs: 34-inch MVA screen, 3440 x 1440 WQHD resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 4000:1 contrast ratio, LED light source, 300nits brightness, 6bit+FRT color space support, 1ms MPRT response time, excellent wide viewing angles due to 1500R curvature radius, anti-glare, 144hz variable refresh rate via DisplayPort input.

The monitor features a single DisplayPort 1.2 input, and two other HDMI 2.0 ports that are supporting only 100hz refresh rate. If you have a powerful enough computer capable of going over 100FPS in 3440x1440 resolution, then we recommend using the DisplayPort input and enjoy 144hz refresh rates instead.

This ViewSonic VX3418-2KPC packs a stand that lets users adjust the tilt and height positions. If you want better ergonomics, then you can hook it up to a desk mount compatible with VESA 100x100 standard. The monitor also comes with built-in 5W stereo speakers and 3.5mm headphone jack.
