Xiaomi Launches Mi Surface WQHD Gaming Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate and FreeSync Support
Xiaomi has just announced two new gaming monitors that should be launched worldwide later this year.
Xiaomi is mostly known for their popular smartphones, but they have also built and released TVs since a few years back, a thing that not too many know, and now they have started to build gaming monitors, too. Below you can find info on two of such products that will be released before the end of the year.
Xiaomi has announced two gaming monitors, the Mi Surface Display 34-inch model and a smaller model that has remained nameless for this moment. The Mi Surface Display is a curved screen and it is designed and built around gaming - it comes with native AMD FreeSync support, 144Hz refresh rate and 4ms gray-t0-gray response time. Also, the model has 16.7M colors and 121% color gamut in sRGB.
The maximum resolution supported by the curved Mi Surface Display is 3440 x 1440 (WQHD) and the diagonal size of this model is 34 inches. The screen curvature measures 1500R with a pixel density of 110 pixels-per-inch. There are no news on the connectivity ports of the Xiaomi Mi Display Surface, but it will surely pack at least one DisplayPort and one HDMI.
The other smaller model has a diagonal size of 23.8 inches and it will be a flat model, and it will use a more minimalist design than the bigger 34'' model, as it comes with thinner bezels. The smaller Mi Display will only support Full HD resolution.
The release date for the bigger model is set for this week in China, while the rest of the world should get it before the end of the year. The pricing for of this device should be set around $350.
